We, Westbank First Nation (WFN), take our privacy obligations seriously. WFN collects, uses, and discloses personal information in accordance with the Westbank First Nation Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Law (2018), as amended from time to time (“WFN FIPPA”). 

Any and all personal information WFN collects from you in and in connection with your registration and use of this website (the “Site”) is collected pursuant to section 15.1(c) of WFN FIPPA; and is collected for the purposes of completing your registration with the Site, WFN’s administration and operation of the Site, and in connection with any community engagement programs or activities operated by WFN in connection with the Site. Profile Information

We collect information from you when you register to use this Site. This includes your email address, your full name, confirmation that you are a WFN member, your status number, and additional demographic information as provided by you on the registration form.

Engagement Information

We collect the content you create as part of your interactions with this Site. These can include responses to surveys, comments on discussion forums, or any of the other engagement opportunities available here.

We collect information about your usage of the Site, such as pages visited, documents downloaded, etc.

How we use the information we collect:

We use the personal information we collect about you for the purposes of completing your registration with the Site, WFN’s administration and operation of the Site, and in connection with any community engagement programs operated by WFN in connection with the Site, including in order to:

1. evaluate our objectives and outcomes in providing engagement opportunities through this Site;
